In 2008, Mindy – a 36-year-old with no children and unexplained infertility – came to me 1 week before her 3rd fresh IVF cycle. Neither of her first two cycles – the last of which was the previous month – produced a blastocyst. She was told she had poor egg quality and they would try one more time with her own eggs before moving to donor.
On the next cycle, Mindy ended up having 3 blastocysts and she got pregnant. She now has two boys – one from that cycle and one from a frozen transfer from the same batch of embryos.
Then there was Sandra. She’d been told from the beginning she’d need donor eggs. She was 39 with a very low AMH. She tried IVF on her own the month before with no eggs retrieved at all. She asked her doctor what else she could do. Because her doctor knew about me, he told her to come see me.
We started working together about 3 weeks before her next IVF procedure. She got two blastocysts. After a fresh transfer, she found out she was pregnant and later delivered twins.
So, what happened here? How is it that, in such a short time (weeks not months), these women were able to have such a dramatic turnaround in their results?
It’s actually very simple.
There’s a LOT that goes on with your eggs in the last 20 days of maturation. In fact, the follicle – which is the fluid capsule around the egg – increases in size more than 30x during the last 20 days of the maturation process. That’s due to a massive influx of fluid into the follicle during those 20 days.
And that fluid contains vital hormones and nutrients that feeds and nourishes and protects the egg.
That fluid can also contain things that harm the egg or impede its normal development. Toxins, inflammatory chemicals, too much or too little of a certain hormone… there are tons of ways the follicular fluid can be out of balance and cause problems.
But, remember, with what I’m going to teach you later, we recruit nature to handle that for us. So, I don’t want you to get worried about it at all.
We will harness nature’s intelligence to rebalance the follicular fluid, so it conveys nature’s intent with maximum efficacy.
On top of this, in the moments just before it is released by the ovary (what we call ovulation) your egg undergoes its final stage of meiosis – meaning the chromosomes separate and prepare for fertilization.
Think that’s a critical time?
It certainly is. In fact, in that process that takes just a few hours the eggs chromosomes can become damaged or misaligned merely because the environment in which the chromosomes are separating isn’t clear enough.
What I’ve seen over and over is that we can have a profoundly positive impact on egg quality in two weeks or less just by doing simple things to boost the quality of the body fluid and specifically the follicular fluid.
And remember – again – nature knows how to do this. The Clear Path is all about massive amplification of nature’s power.
So, don’t worry. Nature’s already got it all figured out. All you must do is give it a little help.
